This song is inspired by my own struggles with depression and loneliness. I have since become a much happier and fulfilled person but all through my childhood and early adult life I struggled with these things a lot. The DIY community is a great place for people who suffer from similar issues and have trouble socializing. Music is an amazing thing and Im happy to say that if my life was a heart felt song there now would definitely be people singing along :)

Lately I have been feeling something dark looming in my shadows past. Impending sorrow, like a cloud that hangs over my head. So I just smile till I turn plastic. We all just smile till we turn plastic.

Surely the sky is falling. We've been cat calling danger since day one. There is no meaning to all this failure I'm subjected to. So I just smile till I turn plastic. We all just smile till we turn plastic.

If my life was a heart felt song. There would be no one singing along.
